Private Wealth Manager – Switzerland

Our client, a well-established and expanding international wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Private Wealth Manager to join its growing Swiss operation.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished adviser looking to align with a respected international business while continuing to build and service a high-quality client portfolio. The successful candidate will work with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, delivering bespoke financial planning and wealth management solutions across an international client base.

The Opportunity

Our client offers a comprehensive international wealth management proposition, providing clients with investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, succession planning and cross-border financial planning solutions.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an established adviser who has built strong, long-term client relationships and is able to transition a transferable client base. The successful individual will benefit from the support, infrastructure and resources of an established international wealth management business while maintaining the flexibility to continue growing their own portfolio.

Working within a collaborative and professional environment, advisers are supported by experienced operational, compliance and technical teams, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and manage long-term relationships with high-net-worth and international private clients.
  • Transition and service an existing transferable client portfolio.
  • Deliver holistic financial planning and wealth management advice tailored to each client's objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking and professional introducers.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and provide suitable wealth management solutions.
  • Work closely with internal specialists to deliver an outstanding client experience.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop long-term relationships built on trust, service excellence and client retention.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Financial Adviser, Wealth Manager or Private Banker.
  • A demonstrable transferable client base is essential.
  • Proven success working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Professional, consultative and client-focused approach.
  • Strong understanding of investment management and holistic financial planning.
  • Fluency in English is essential. Additional European languages would be advantageous.
  • Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Switzerland and hold either Swiss citizenship, EU/EFTA work authorisation, or a valid Swiss G Permit.
  • Highly motivated with a desire to grow a long-term, sustainable client portfolio.
