Lead, Inspire and Build a High-Performing Advisory Team

Our client, a leading international wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Team Manager – Private Wealth Advisory to lead, mentor and develop a team of high-performing Private Wealth Advisers across the UAE.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven adviser who is ready to step into a leadership role while continuing to build their own successful client portfolio. You will play a key role in driving business growth, coaching advisers to achieve exceptional results and ensuring the delivery of outstanding financial planning solutions to internationally mobile and high-net-worth clients.

Supported by an established compliance, paraplanning, operations and business development infrastructure, you'll have the resources to focus on leadership, adviser development and strategic growth.

The Opportunity

As Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Private Wealth Advisers while maintaining your own portfolio of valued clients. You will foster a high-performance culture, support advisers in developing their businesses and ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional client outcomes.

Success will be measured through team performance, adviser development, client acquisition, revenue growth, retention and the overall quality of advice delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of Private Wealth Advisers.
  • Support advisers in achieving their personal and commercial objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions and development planning.
  • Share best practice across business development, client acquisition and financial planning.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and development of new advisers.

Business Growth

  • Drive team revenue and business development performance.
  • Support advisers in generating new client opportunities through networking, referrals, introducer relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to maximise growth.
  • Encourage cross-selling and long-term recurring revenue opportunities.

Client Advisory

  • Maintain and grow your own portfolio of high-value clients.
  • Deliver holistic financial planning across investments, retirement planning, pensions, protection, estate planning and wealth preservation.
  • Build trusted long-term relationships with internationally mobile individuals and families.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and adapt financial strategies as circumstances evolve.

Governance & Quality

  • Ensure advisers consistently deliver high-quality, compliant financial advice.
  • Work closely with compliance and paraplanning teams to maintain regulatory excellence.
  • Promote best practice across client servicing, documentation and ongoing advice standards.
  • Champion professionalism, ethics and exceptional client outcomes.

About You

Essential

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a successful Financial Adviser or Private Wealth Adviser.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring or managing advisers.
  • Demonstrable success in business development and client acquisition.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive team performance.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing professionals.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Experience managing advisory teams within international wealth management.
  • Experience advising expatriate and internationally mobile clients.
  • Chartered or advanced financial planning qualifications.
  • Multilingual language skills.
  • Existing professional network within the UAE or international markets.
