Our client is an established international wealth management firm with a growing presence across Asia. As part of its continued expansion, the firm is seeking an experienced Wealth Manager to join its Kuala Lumpur office.

This opportunity is designed for an accomplished adviser who has built a successful international client base and is looking to take the next step within a highly respected organisation offering outstanding infrastructure, investment solutions and long-term career progression.

The Opportunity

The successful individual will manage and continue to develop an existing portfolio of high-net-worth and internationally mobile clients whilst introducing their own established network of relationships.

This role is ideal for advisers who have developed a portable client bank and are seeking a professional platform that provides first-class compliance, investment solutions, operational support and the freedom to focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an established portfolio of high-net-worth and affluent clients.
  • Transfer and grow an existing book of recurring clients, maintaining long-term relationships through exceptional service.
  • Generate new business through referrals, professional introducers and strategic networking.
  • Deliver holistic financial planning and wealth management advice tailored to each client's objectives.
  • Advise on investment management, retirement planning, wealth preservation and succession planning.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and identify opportunities to enhance investment strategies and financial outcomes.
  • Maintain the highest standards of compliance, ethics and client care.
  • Collaborate with internal investment, compliance and operational teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Act as a senior representative of the business within the international financial services community.

Candidate Profile

  • A proven track record as a Senior Wealth Manager or International Financial Adviser.
  • An existing transferable book of high-net-worth or internationally mobile clients that can transition to a new advisory platform.
  • Demonstrable success in generating recurring revenue and growing assets under management.
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills.
  • Experience advising expatriate and international clients across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • A professional, ethical and client-focused approach.

Qualifications

Applicants should ideally hold:

  • CISI Level 4 Wealth Management or an equivalent recognised financial planning qualification.
  • Relevant regulatory qualifications appropriate for international financial advice.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge across investments, financial planning and international wealth management.
