Why Join Us?

Apply your nursing experience in a unique role that combines patient care with domestic and international travel. You’ll work alongside medical, aviation, and operational professionals to help ensure medically cleared individuals receive appropriate medical support throughout their journey.

For experienced nurses comfortable providing care outside a traditional hospital setting, this is an opportunity to use your clinical skills in an entirely different environment.

Job Description

Employment Type: Full-time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities are available.

Schedule: Flight schedules, hours, and international travel will vary based on operational needs.

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide standby medical oversight and in-flight support for medically cleared individuals during domestic and international transportation.

As the RN supporting individuals who have been evaluated and cleared for travel, you’ll provide clinical monitoring and judgment and be prepared to provide BLS emergency response should an unexpected medical need arise.

This opportunity is well suited for experienced Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, critical care, transport, and acute-care nurses who are comfortable working independently outside a traditional hospital setting. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor individuals during flight for changes in physical or behavioral health status.
  • Provide appropriate intervention and respond to medical events within scope of practice.
  • Identify medical or behavioral health concerns that may require additional evaluation during travel.
  • Provide clinical input regarding an individual's medical readiness for transportation.
  • Coordinate with physicians, advanced practice providers, flight crews, operational personnel, and sending or receiving healthcare teams as needed.
  • Complete required clinical documentation if required.
  • Follow established infection-prevention, aviation-safety, medication-management, confidentiality, and clinical protocols.
  • Maintain readiness to provide care in a resource-limited airborne environment.

This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid U.S. passport
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder

Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Government, military, correctional, public-health, or other regulated healthcare environments
  • DHS or detention health
  • Pre-hospital care, including Paramedic or EMT experience
  • Emergency Department
  • Intensive Care Unit or critical care
  • Acute-care nursing
  • Transport, aeromedical, or flight nursing

Candidates should also demonstrate:

  • Strong clinical assessment and emergency-response skills.
  • Sound independent clinical judgment.
  • Comfort working where immediate hospital resources are not available.
  • Experience managing medications and clinical documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly structured environment.
  • Flexibility and comfort with domestic and international travel.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
