Inspirerande skolbibliotekarie

Vill du arbeta i en internationell miljö med en stödjande kultur är IES Växjö platsen för dig. Här värnar vi om våra elever genom hela skoldagen och vårt EHT-team finns på plats 100% alla dagar i veckan. Vi har en elevgrupp på runt 300 elever som talar omkring ett 30-tal olika modersmål samt en mycket engagerad internationell personalgrupp.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Växjö är en F-9-skola med tillhörande fritidshem. IES Växjö är en tvåspråkig skola och du behöver därför kunna kommunicera med kollegor, elever och deras familjer på både svenska och engelska, även skriftligt.

Vi söker nu en utbildad bibliotekarie.

Detta är du!

Som skolbibliotekarie ansvarar du för att leda skolans bibliotek och säkerställa att det är integrerat i skolans pedagogiska arbete. Du kommer att arbeta med olika metoder för att stärka elevernas läsning, både genom egna lektioner och initiativ samt i samarbete med undervisande lärare och fritidspersonal. Du kommer även att arbeta med att stödja skolans värdegrundsarbete genom arbete med olika grupper, lyfta fram litteratur samt genom att stödja elever i behov av olika former av anpassningar. Du kommer också att vara en del av IES bibliotekarienätverk och få kontinuerligt stöd från Librarian Coordinator.

  • Du är självständig och väl bevandrad i att driva ett skolbibliotek med en känsla att vilja göra skillnad.

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.
