Internationella Engelska Skolan söker nu en speciallärare med start december 2026.

Internationella Engelska Skolan i Östersund är en tvåspråkig skola för elever i årskurs F-9. Vår skola erbjuder en trygg och ordnad miljö och vi är fast beslutna att hjälpa varje barn att nå sin fulla potential.

Vi söker en speciallärare med stort engagemang för elevers lärande, hälsa och utveckling. I uppdraget ingår att arbeta för en välfungerande elevhälsa för att stödja elevernas utveckling mot utbildningens mål.

- De huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifterna är att:

- Kartlägga elevers och gruppers behov

- Arbeta direkt med elev/elever i mindre grupp

- Planera, genomföra och utvärdera insatser

- Delta i skolans systematiska kvalitetsarbete

Kvalifikationer:

Vi söker dig som har svensk lärarlegitimation samt påbyggnadsutbildning till speciallärare eller har erfarenhet inom specialpedagogik. Du har tidigare erfarenhet av arbete med barn och ungdomar.

Tidigare erfarenhet av arbete som lärare och speciallärare inom grundskolan är meriterande. Mycket god svenska och engelska i tal och skrift är ett krav för tjänsten.

Arbetet förutsätter att du är trygg i din yrkesroll, kan arbeta självständigt, är initiativrik och har en god förmåga att se möjligheter i olika situationer. Som person har du ett bra bemötande samt en god förmåga att planera och prioritera ditt arbete. Du har en god samarbetsförmåga och intresse av att arbeta tillsammans i team med olika yrkeskategorier. Ditt förhållningssätt är relationellt, och inriktat mot att arbeta hälsofrämjande och förebyggande. Du är flexibel, lyhörd och har lätt för att skapa förtroende och goda relationer till elever, vårdnadshavare och kollegor. Vi lägger stor vikt vid dina personliga egenskaper.

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.
