This role will provide exposure to a broad range of UK corporate tax and transaction tax matters, while offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects, develop junior team members, and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Key Accountabilities
Our Tax Services team is looking for an experienced Manager to support all aspects of UK corporate tax and transaction tax advisory. The role will involve leading tax workstreams across restructuring, M&A, refinancing, and corporate reorganisation projects, while working closely with colleagues across Interpath's advisory and restructuring practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued growth of our Tax Services offering and will have significant client-facing responsibility.
- Managing transaction tax assignments, including tax due diligence, transaction structuring, and tax risk assessments for acquisitions and disposals.
- Advising clients on corporate reorganisations, group restructurings, refinancing transactions, and other strategic projects.
- Supporting restructuring and insolvency engagements by providing commercially focused tax advice.
- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
- Overseeing the preparation and review of technical tax analyses, reports, and client deliverables.
- Collaborating with colleagues across restructuring, debt advisory, and transaction services teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Managing project delivery, budgets, and timelines across multiple engagements.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team to support a high-performance culture.
- Supporting business development initiatives, preparing proposals, identifying opportunities, and contributing to thought leadership activities.
Requirements

Successful candidates will demonstrate a combination of technical excellence, commercial awareness, leadership capability, and strong relationship management skills.
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent Chartered Accountant qualification.
- CTA qualified or qualified through an equivalent professional tax qualification.
- Strong UK Corporate Tax experience gained within a professional services, tax advisory, or accounting environment.
- Experience in transaction tax, including tax due diligence, M&A transactions, acquisitions, disposals, and corporate restructurings.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and its practical application.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality advisory work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple competing deadlines.
- Experience managing and developing junior team members.
- A proactive, commercial mindset and a desire to contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
- Experience working with private equity-backed businesses, mid-market clients, or multinational groups would be advantageous.
