The posting

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the accuracy and day-to-day governance of sales territories and customer accounts across all go-to-market segments. Working closely with Sales Operations leadership and Sales Management, this role supports territory design, account assignment, account creation, ownership rules, and account hierarchies ensuring sales coverage is clear, consistent, and reflected correctly in company systems. The analyst will also connect assigned accounts with their recurring billings to support accurate quota setting and territory planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Design and Alignment: Support the design, segmentation, and maintenance of sales territories across go-to-market teams. Partner with sales managers to validate territory boundaries, coverage models, and account assignments.
  • Account Governance: Manage account creation and assignment processes, maintain ownership rules, research potential duplicate accounts, and resolve account ownership questions in accordance with established policies.
  • Account Hierarchies: Build and maintain parent, subsidiary, and related-account relationships that reflect how customers buy, renew, use, and expand.
  • Quota and Billing Alignment: Match accounts and their recurring billings to the correct territories and owners, investigate exceptions, and provide reliable inputs for quota setting and territory planning.
  • Data Integrity: Monitor territory and account data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Identify root causes of data issues, coordinate corrections, and recommend preventive controls.
  • Territory Grading and Reporting: Prepare territory grading, account distribution, coverage, and data-quality reporting. Summarize findings for Sales Operations and sales leadership and support recurring planning and review cycles.
  • Operational Support: Provide timely support for territory and account requests, communicate status and resolution clearly, and meet documented service-level expectations. Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other operational teams when account, billing, or territory decisions affect downstream systems and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, business operations, data management, or a related role.
  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills and the ability to reconcile data from multiple sources with close attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM data (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, PEGA) including accounts, ownership assignments, hierarchies, territories, or similar master-data structures.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g. copilots, summarization tools, or chatbots) with an ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated outputs
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, evaluate, adapt to, propose and implement AI-augmented workflows to continually enhance your own, and the team’s productivity
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to escalate exceptions and explain decisions to sales managers and business partners.
  • Ability to manage recurring operational work alongside time-sensitive requests while meeting established service levels.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
