The posting

We are looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our Software Engineering team and contribute to the design, development and enhancement of custom software solutions. You will work with modern frameworks and Agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

The role calls for an engineer who can work independently, collaborate closely with the team and grow into a subject matter expert on the solutions you build.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and enhance custom application components using Oracle PL/SQL
  • Write and optimise Oracle SQL queries and database objects
  • Contribute to database management activities and to the performance of the solutions you build
  • Apply problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and improve software functionality
  • Support testing and debugging activities to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
  • Participate actively in team discussions and propose solutions to work-related problems
  • Document software designs and development processes for future reference
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies to enhance software quality

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL
  • Experience with Oracle database management
  • Intermediate proficiency in custom application development
  • Understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to design, test and debug database-centric solutions
  • Experience with technical documentation
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of your tasks
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluency in Greek

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Oracle APEX
  • Experience working with APIs
  • Experience with Oracle BI Publisher
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments
