The posting

We are hiring an Onchain Operations Analyst/Associate to support the execution, monitoring, and operational management of onchain positions across DeFi protocols and multiple blockchain networks.

This role sits within the Operations team and focuses on ensuring live crypto positions are accurately managed, continuously monitored, and appropriately risk-controlled. You will work closely with global teams across Asia, New York, and London, with primary coverage during Asia (HK) hours.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor onchain transactions using institutional custody and execution platforms (e.g. Fireblocks or equivalent)
  • Manage positions across lending, borrowing, liquidity provision, staking, and related DeFi strategies
  • Monitor portfolio health including collateral ratios, liquidation risks, and exposure levels
  • Respond to real-time risk alerts and take action to rebalance or unwind positions when required
  • Configure and maintain onchain monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. Hypernative or similar)
  • Build and refine alerts around key risk indicators such as LTV thresholds, oracle movements, and protocol anomalies
  • Conduct due diligence on new DeFi protocols and yield opportunities, including smart contract risk, liquidity conditions, governance structures, and historical incidents
  • Support automation and tooling initiatives using APIs, RPCs, and workflow automation tools
  • Maintain clear documentation of positions, configurations, and operational procedures

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in crypto / DeFi operations or related roles
  • Hands-on experience interacting with DeFi protocols (lending, DEXs, staking, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of DeFi risk mechanics (liquidation risk, collateralization, oracle risk, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with blockchain data (RPCs, explorers, APIs)
  • Basic scripting or Python knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with institutional custody platforms (e.g. Fireblocks) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in time-sensitive environments
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently during Asia hours
  • Familiarity with AI tools for productivity and automation is a plus
