The posting

Position: Long-Term Substitute Infant Room Assistant Teacher

Location: Tiger Tots Learning Center – Ipswich Public Schools

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:45 PM

Duration: Immediate start through mid-December

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

About the Role

Tiger Tots Learning Center is seeking a caring, reliable, and attentive Long-Term Substitute Assistant Teacher to join our infant classroom immediately. You will work alongside our Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom management and care routines.
  • Prepare and give bottle feedings according to individual care plans.
  • Handle diaper changes and maintain a clean, hygienic environment.
  • Take infants on walks around the school premises.
  • Engage infants with age-appropriate activities, play, and developmental support.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with infants or young children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, warm demeanor.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
