The Manager will lead reimbursement research and consulting engagements focused on coverage, coding, payment, policy, and market access; develop defensible strategic recommendations; manage project teams, budgets, and timelines; and support the growth and development of junior staff and the RHEMA practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the quality, accuracy, and strategic coherence of client deliverables.
  • Develop and confirm reimbursement strategies and recommendations with limited assistance from senior leaders.
  • Lead research involving Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies; coding and payment pathways; stakeholder interviews; and relevant policy developments.
  • Translate complex research into clear implications, options, and recommendations for client decision-making.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients, providers, payers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead project teams of peers and junior staff; delegate effectively; review work; and provide coaching, training, and performance support.
  • Manage projects through disciplined tracking of scope, timelines, staffing, budgets, risks, and client expectations.
  • Oversee monitoring and knowledge development in assigned policy areas, therapeutic areas, and service offerings.
  • Participate actively in business development, including opportunity shaping, proposal development, scoping, and prospective-client discussions.
  • Contribute to webinars, conferences, publications, and other forums that demonstrate RHEMA expertise.
  • Collaborate across RHEMA, Regulatory, Clinical, and other IQVIA MedTech functions to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health policy, economics, public health, life sciences, business, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in reimbursement, market access, health policy, medical technology, healthcare consulting, a payer, a provider organization, or a related setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. coverage, coding, payment, and policy pathways relevant to medical technologies.
  • Experience managing client relationships and consulting projects with responsibility for deliverable quality, budgets, and timelines.
  • Strong research, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues clearly to varied audiences.
  • Ability to lead and develop junior staff while working effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to analyze and interpret complex documents and datasets.
  • Strong professionalism, judgment, self-direction, organization, and prioritization. Occasional travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, or other novel technologies.
  • Experience conducting payer or provider interviews and developing evidence-based reimbursement or market access recommendations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with Medacare prospective payment systems and coding processes.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
