Job description

Job Type: Full-time | Location: Childress, Texas | Department: Construction | Reporting to: Associate Director, Construction | Work Location: #onsite

IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC.

Step into a leadership role where your electrical expertise directly enables the future of high-performance compute. As the Construction Manager – Electrical, you’ll oversee the delivery of sophisticated electrical systems—including redundant power infrastructure, UPS systems, and liquid-to-chip cooling integration—within advanced data center environments. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure every system is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest reliability standards. If you thrive on complex technical challenges and large-scale project leadership, this role offers both impact and career growth.

With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of all electrical construction activities for data center projects, including power distribution, UPS systems, liquid cooling integration, and redundant electrical infrastructure.
  • Review and interpret electrical design documents, single-line diagrams, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Interface with mechanical, civil, and IT/Network teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with liquid-to-chip cooling and data center operations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
