IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC.

The Construction Supervisor - Network is a career-advancing opportunity for experienced low-voltage and network infrastructure professionals ready to take ownership of complex, mission-critical data center projects. In this role, you’ll lead the installation and integration of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and network hardware that form the backbone of high-performance computing environments. You’ll supervise field teams and subcontractors, coordinate across electrical, mechanical, and IT disciplines, and ensure all work meets stringent design, safety, and industry standards. If you’re a technically strong network professional looking to elevate your career into a leadership role with greater visibility, responsibility, and impact, this position places you at the forefront of next-generation, renewable-powered data center construction.

With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or Information Technology is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is advantageous for candidates overseeing larger teams or complex projects. Equivalent military or trade school experience in low-voltage systems or network infrastructure will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network infrastructure installation or low-voltage construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in data center environments or other mission-critical facilities (e.g., hospitals, telecom hubs, or industrial plants) is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to supervise network or low-voltage construction projects, preferably in data center or large-scale industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optics, and networking hardware.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, NFPA, and construction safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of managing subcontractor performance effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage schedules and project timelines.
  • Certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, or OSHA 30 are a plus.

Other important requirements:

  • Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
  • Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
  • Must be comfortable working a rotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.
  • Employees working night shifts will receive a 15% premium added to their hourly rate only for hours worked during night shifts.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and technicians installing network infrastructure, including structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and related equipment.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and work packages to ensure installations meet design standards and client requirements.
  • Monitor progress against the project schedule and provide status updates to the Construction Manager or Project Manager.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to confirm adherence to industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI), safety protocols, and company procedures.
  • Oversee material deliveries, equipment staging, and inventory tracking for network components.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical guidance to subcontractors as needed.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams to ensure proper integration of network systems within the overall data center build-out.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
