At iRhythm, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills and your career while impacting the lives of people around the world. iRhythm is shaping a future where everyone, everywhere can access the best possible cardiac health solutions. Every day, we collaborate, create, and constantly reimagine what’s possible. We think big and move fast, driven by our commitment to put patients first and improve lives. We need builders like you. Curious and innovative problem solvers looking for the chance to meaningfully shape the future of cardiac health, our company, and your career

About This Role:

iRhythm is seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly operational Vice President, M&A Integrations to lead the successful integration of acquired companies and other strategic transactions. This executive will translate deal strategy into disciplined execution, protect business continuity, align cross-functional teams, and ensure that each transaction delivers its intended strategic, operational, and financial value.

Reporting directly to the SVP of Integration Management and Business Transformation, the Vice President, M&A Integrations will lead iRhythm's acquisitions through the full integration lifecycle, from supporting pre-close diligence and transaction planning through Day 1 readiness, stabilization, operating model implementation, value realization, and transition to business-as-usual ownership. This leader will serve as the enterprise orchestrator for integration, establishing governance, clarifying accountability, managing risks and dependencies, and accelerating decisions across iRhythm and acquired organizations.

This leader will partner closely with functional leaders across Corporate Development, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, R&D, Product, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Compliance, and executive leadership. The role is highly collaborative, focused on integration planning and execution to deliver on the deal thesis of value creation rather than on target identification, valuation, transaction structuring, or deal negotiation.

Job Overview

The VP M&A Integration will help iRhythm establish an enterprise-wide integration program capability which delivers the value capture thesis of M&As.

Specifically, this role will bring best practices to bear in designing and managing the cross-functional integration planning process, developing the tools and governance program to execute on the integration plan, and deliver regular executive and Board-level reporting mechanisms. This individual will be energized by the opportunity to building and manage the team that directly integrates acquired companies, coordinate enterprise-wide execution, and ensure success in delivering against integration milestones, business objectives, and approved value commitments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with Corporate Development and functional leaders during diligence to assess integration complexity, organizational impacts, operating model implications, risks, dependencies, and value creation opportunities.

• Translate the transaction thesis into an actionable integration plan, inclusive of clear priorities, decision rights, milestones, and measurable outcome metrics.

• Develop Day 1 readiness plans, stabilization priorities, and longer-term integration roadmaps tailored to the strategic rationale and risk profile of each transaction.

• Identify critical business continuity requirements and establish mitigation and contingency plans before close.

• Drive cross-functional plans for operating model alignment, organizational design, process integration, systems and data migration, customer and partner continuity, talent onboarding, and culture integration.

• Own integrated milestone, dependency, risk, issue, and decision tracking; remove barriers and ensure commitments are delivered on time and within approved investment parameters.

• Lead transaction close, Day 1, and major integration checkpoints, confirming readiness and escalating unresolved risks to the appropriate executive governance body.

• Partner with Finance and business leaders to validate synergies, dis-synergies, one-time costs, investment requirements, and value creation initiatives.

• Establish clear owners, baselines, targets, and measurement methods for strategic, operational, commercial, and financial outcomes.

• Monitor and report integration health, milestone performance, synergy capture, and business impact through executive dashboards and recurring governance reviews.

• Identify corrective actions and opportunities to accelerate value capture while balancing patient, customer, employee, quality, and regulatory considerations.

• Lead change management and stakeholder engagement strategies that support adoption, minimize disruption, and strengthen the employee experience.

• Partner with HR and business leaders on leadership alignment, organizational design, workforce transitions, retention of critical talent, and cultural integration.

• Build trust and shared accountability across legacy iRhythm teams and acquired company leadership and employees.

• Communicate integration priorities, decisions, progress, and implications clearly to audiences ranging from frontline teams to the Board.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the EVP, Strategy & Corporate Development and executive leadership on integration strategy, execution risk, tradeoffs, and value realization.

• Lead, develop, and deploy an experienced integration team with direct accountability for integrating acquired companies, including dedicated integration leaders, program managers, and workstream resources as the portfolio requires.

• Provide direction and coaching to functional integration leads, ensuring the teams doing the work have the capacity, tools, decision support, and accountability needed to deliver.

• Develop and continuously improve iRhythm’s integration playbook, governance standards, diligence-to-integration handoffs, tools, templates, training, and lessons-learned processes.

• Build a scalable enterprise integration capability that can support increased transaction volume and complexity over time.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.

• MBA, MHA, or other relevant advanced degree preferred.

• Program management, change management, Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification preferred.

Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience across post-merger integration, enterprise transformation, strategic program leadership, operations, corporate development integration, or management consulting, including at least 5 years with direct M&A integration leadership accountability.

• Proven experience leading multiple acquisitions through diligence, Day 1, stabilization, functional integration, and value realization.

• Demonstrated experience building, managing, and developing teams that have directly integrated acquired companies, not solely advised or monitored integration activity.

• Demonstrated success delivering measurable operational, commercial, organizational, and financial outcomes from complex transactions.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams in highly matrixed, regulated organizations and influencing senior leaders without direct authority.

• Industry experience in healthcare services, medical device, diagnostics, life science tools, digital health, or another highly regulated healthcare environment preferred.

• Experience integrating businesses with complex combinations of products, technology, data, clinical evidence, quality systems, regulated operations, supply chains, and commercial channels preferred.

• Background in an active M&A environment, either in an internal corporate integration role or in management consulting with substantial hands-on integration execution responsibility preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong cross-functional and organizational acumen, including experience with integration business cases, synergy models, one-time costs, budgets, and value realization plans.

• Executive-level communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the judgment and presence to lead governance forums and advise senior executives.

• Ability to connect strategy, people, process, technology, and economics into a coherent execution plan.

• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to move fluidly between executive-level decisions and detailed operating issues.

• Strong analytical, diagnostic, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

• Inclusive people leadership that develops talent, creates accountability, and builds effective teams across organizational boundaries.

• Patient- and customer-centered decision making that balances speed and value capture with quality, regulatory, compliance, and business continuity requirements.

• Working knowledge of quality, regulatory, and compliance considerations relevant to medical technology and healthcare businesses.

Periodic travel will be required based on transaction activity and business needs.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
