Entre suas principais atribuições, destacam-se:

• Receber e preparar os kits de bandejas de refeições. • Conferir cuidadosamente as dietas preparadas, incluindo etiquetas, nomes dos pacientes, leitos, tipos de dietas e pedidos especiais, garantindo a correta entrega. • Auxiliar no preparo e porcionamento de lanches, vitaminas, frutas, sucos e outras demandas indicadas pela supervisão. • Transportar os carrinhos contendo as bandejas de acordo com os padrões estabelecidos, zelando para que os alimentos não fiquem descobertos ou desembalados durante o percurso. • Servir as refeições aos pacientes nos quartos conforme os mapas de dieta e normas institucionais. • Recolher as bandejas dos pacientes, conferindo os utensílios e resíduos para manter a organização e higiene. • Higienizar utensílios utilizados, bem como garantir a limpeza e conservação dos equipamentos, instalações e utensílios da copa e cozinha. • Realizar o descarte correto dos resíduos gerados no local de trabalho. • Comunicar imediatamente qualquer irregularidade ou necessidade de reposição.
