About “is” “is” is a new kind of social content platform built around the concept of “Linked Micro-Content.” Instead of traditional posts or videos, users create short, expressive statements called “Isms” — small bursts of language and emotion that link together to form dynamic networks of thought, humor, news, and creativity. Each Ism can be styled, remixed, and transformed through AI-driven modes that affect visuals, motion, and tone. Our platform blends art, language, and machine intelligence into a living, collaborative content ecosystem.
We’re a small, ambitious team building the next frontier of creative expression — where AI, design, and human imagination meet.
Senior QA Role Overview We’re looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst with strong QA automation and scripting experience to help ensure a high standard of performance, reliability, and usability across our web and mobile experiences. This role involves testing front-end interfaces, API endpoints, and AI-driven workflows to validate functionality, accuracy, and overall user experience. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to track issues, reproduce bugs, and ensure that every release meets our quality bar.

Qualifications 3+ years of experience in software QA with a focus on automation Proficiency in Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for web automation Solid understanding of REST API testing, data validation, and backend integration Experience writing automation scripts in JavaScript or C# Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Strong analytical, documentation, and debugging skills Detail-oriented mindset with clear communication and process discipline Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment
Nice to Have Experience testing AI-integrated or content-driven platforms Familiarity with cloud testing infrastructure or parallel test execution Experience using performance and load-testing tools
Who You Are You’re a QA technitian. Technical, methodical, and proactive about quality. You take ownership of automation coverage and love bringing consistency and confidence to the release process. You enjoy working with code as much as testing user flows, and you thrive in a creative environment that blends art and engineering. You take pride in making digital experiences stable, fast, and beautiful.
How to Apply 1. Visit www.is.fun and sign up for a free account. 2. In the top right, 'co-create' a new ism — a short statement or idea you’d feel proud sharing publicly. It can be about politics, entertainment, the news, or really anything or anyone. So long as it complies with the linked micro-content statement format of subject-verb-predicate. 3. Attach an image or visual to your Ism to express it creatively. 4. Once published, copy the URL of your ism. 5. Submit your application here, including the link to your ism in the provided field.
We review all applications that include a real, live Ism from the platform. Once you complete the steps above, you can follow up at the email address of [email protected].
