Wij verzorgen IT-projecten bij diverse top 100-klanten over heel Vlaanderen en Brussel in volgende IT-domeinen: Application Development, Infrastructure Services & Software Testing. Om ons team verder te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een Data Engineer (m/v/x) om aan de slag te gaan bij onze klant in Brussel.

  • Deze positie kan worden ingevuld met zowel vast contract (bediendestatuut) als freelance contract

Functie

  • Fungeren als brug tussen business en data
  • Ondersteunen van data-initiatieven die bijdragen aan strategische doelstellingen, innovatie en compliance
  • Adviseren van business- en IT-stakeholders rond data governance en datamanagement
  • Analyseren van businessnoden en vertalen naar pragmatische, duurzame oplossingen
  • Begeleiden en coachen van stakeholders
  • Geven van opleidingen en advies rond data-gerelateerde processen en verantwoordelijkheden
  • Mee bewaken en verbeteren van een uniforme business glossary en gemeenschappelijke datadefinities
  • Faciliteren van samenwerking tussen verschillende afdelingen, productteams en stakeholders
  • Afstemmen van verwachtingen en bouwen aan consensus binnen multidisciplinaire teams
  • Bijdragen aan de verdere optimalisatie van data governance-praktijken op basis van ervaringen uit het werkveld
  • Stimuleren van een datagedreven cultuur en het creëren van concrete businesswaarde
  • Actief samenwerken in een omgeving waar kennisdeling, innovatie en teamwerk centraal staan

Profiel

  • Masterdiploma of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Minstens 4 jaar ervaring binnen Data Management, met sterke expertise in Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Metadata Management en Master Data Management
  • Kennis van domeinen zoals Data Privacy, Data Security, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Big Data, Data Modeling en Data Integration is een plus
  • Ervaring binnen een complexe organisatieomgeving; affiniteit met een technische, operationele of sterk gereguleerde sector vormt een meerwaarde
  • Vlotte kennis van het Engels en daarnaast vloeiend Nederlands, Frans of Duits

  • Sterk analytisch en in staat om complexe vraagstukken pragmatisch te benaderen
  • Durft stakeholders constructief uit te dagen en te adviseren op basis van feiten en onderbouwde inzichten
  • Kan bedrijfsprocessen en data-uitdagingen over afdelingen heen bekijken en denkt vanuit een organisatiebreed perspectief
  • Resultaatgericht met oog voor continue verbetering en duurzame oplossingen
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en ervaring met het faciliteren van workshops, coaching en stakeholdermanagement
  • In staat om complexe materie helder te vertalen naar uiteenlopende doelgroepen, zowel business als IT
  • Overtuigend, diplomatisch en sterk in het creëren van draagvlak
  • Flexibel in aanpak en vlot schakelen tussen een hands-on, adviserende en coachende rol
  • Nieuwsgierig, leergierig en open voor innovatieve ideeën en werkwijzen
  • Teamspeler met een klantgerichte mindset en een sterke focus op samenwerking en kennisdeling
  • Product- en waardegericht, met aandacht voor concrete businessresultaten
