The posting

Om ons team verder te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een Software Engineer Mainframe voor een langdurig project bij onze klant in Antwerpen.

Taken

  • Je werkt binnen een agile Mainframe-team aan de ontwikkeling en ondersteuning van bedrijfskritische toepassingen.
  • Je analyseert functionele en technische vereisten en vertaalt deze naar kwalitatieve softwareoplossingen.
  • Je ontwikkelt software in Cobol V5 binnen een IBM z/OS-mainframeomgeving.
  • Je begrijpt de technische architectuur en hergebruikt bestaande technische componenten waar mogelijk.
  • Je voert technische analyses, implementaties en kwaliteitscontroles uit.
  • Je documenteert ontwikkelde software en technische oplossingen.
  • Je biedt occasioneel ondersteuning op tweede- en derdelijnsniveau.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met analisten, ontwikkelaars en andere stakeholders om de best mogelijke oplossing te realiseren.
  • Je draagt actief bij aan de agile werkwijze binnen het team.

  • +/- 5 jaar ervaring met Cobol-programmering.
  • Ervaring met IBM Mainframe, CICS, VSAM, Batchverwerking, JCL en SDSF.
  • Ervaring met RDZ is een pluspunt.
  • Ervaring met agentic coding of de bereidheid om dit aan te leren is een sterke troef.
  • Kennis van de verzekeringssector is essentieel.
  • Je beschikt over een sterk analytisch vermogen en werkt oplossingsgericht.
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken.
  • Goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
