Wij verzorgen IT-projecten bij diverse top 100-klanten over heel Vlaanderen en Brussel in volgende IT-domeinen: Application Development, Infrastructure Services & Software Testing. Om ons team verder te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een Mainframe Developer (m/v/x) om aan de slag te gaan bij onze klant in Vlaams-Brabant.

  • Deze positie kan worden ingevuld met zowel vast contract (bediendestatuut) als freelance contract
  • Duurtijd: Lange termijn

Functie

  • In een team van analist-ontwikkelaars word je medeverantwoordelijk voor de analyses en ontwikkeling van de toegewezen (deel)toepassingen
  • Je werkt in team-verband nauwgezet samen met de interne klant. Je zorgt voor een kwaliteitsvolle oplevering zodat de release maximaal beantwoordt aan de verwachtingen van de klant
  • Je zorgt voor een tijdige en correcte oplevering van de gevraagde ontwikkelingen/software-aanvragen, conform de afgesproken procedures en standaarden
  • Op termijn voer je zelfstandig voorstudies, analyses en technical designs uit voor kleinere en grotere wijzigingen
  • Bij problemen of onduidelijkheden koppel je terug naar teamlead en doe je een voorstel van oplossing of vraag je door tot alles duidelijk is. Je zoekt mee naar pragmatische oplossingen
  • Je test de ontwikkelde code en zorgt voor een opvolgbare en eenduidige beschrijving en bewaring van de testresultaten

Profiel

  • Je bent in het bezit van een diploma hoger onderwijs
  • Goede basiskennis op vlak van Mainframe, bv. kennis van Cobol of vergelijkbare programmeertaal, is een extra troef
  • Je bent klantgericht ingesteld en kan zowel zelfstandig opdrachten afwerken als vlot samenwerken in team
  • Je werkt graag naar een concreet resultaat en bent flexibel ingesteld
  • Je bent gebeten door analyse en programmatie
  • Je bent bedreven in service management en gaat vlot om met vragen en tickets met betrekking tot uw deelgebied en antwoordt in een voor de aanvrager verstaanbare taal
  • Je voelt je thuis in een werkomgeving waar je dagelijks rechtstreeks contact hebt met al je collega’s waardoor je met diverse aspecten te maken krijgt in een op te leveren project
