The posting

We are seeking a creative and passionate Video Editor Intern to join our ITP Gaming division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual storytelling and a passion for video editing within the gaming industry. They should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone eager to grow their editing skills and help create content that resonates with a gaming audience.

ITP Gaming provides 360-degree campaign management and execution across the GCC, working with top global game publishers, hardware providers, non-endemic brands, and influencers to bring the biggest gaming launches and initiatives to the region.

Requirements

  • Strong command of Arabic & English (writing and speaking)
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar editing software
  • Basic animation and motion graphics knowledge is a plus
  • A passion for gaming and strong awareness of gaming content trends
  • Understanding of social media platforms (particularly YouTube and Instagram)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

Editing & Content Creation

  • Edit gameplay videos, trailers, social clips, and recap content for YouTube and social media
  • Implement best practices in video editing for YouTube (thumbnails, pacing, retention, etc.)
  • Work with producers and content leads to bring creative briefs to life
  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips for reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Participate in brainstorming and content ideation sessions
  • Assist with podcast video editing and uploading
  • Ensure brand guidelines and tone are consistently maintained in all outputs

Coordination & Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with the social and editorial teams to align on publishing schedules
  • Collaborate with the production team to manage post-production timelines and deliverables
  • Support the development of creative proposals and visual references when needed

Analytics & Improvement

  • Analyse content performance on YouTube and other platforms to optimize future videos
  • Stay updated with editing trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours in the gaming space
