The posting

Employment Type: Freelance / one-off contract

Duration: Single visit, approximately 2 hours on site

About the Job

We are looking for a local technician near Chennai to physically install one Teltonika RUTX50 industrial 5G router at a customer site in a business park in Sriperumbudur. The router will be shipped to the site in advance, so you do not need to supply it. Configuration and SIM activation are done remotely by our team.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect the site on arrival and confirm the mounting position (signal, access, nearby power)
  • Mount the router on a DIN rail, in a cabinet or on a wall, using suitable fixings
  • Connect the router to the power supply
  • Pull a short cable if needed (power, UTP/Ethernet or antenna)
  • Place the antennas in the best position for signal
  • Power on the router and confirm it starts up
  • Send photos before, during and after the installation, plus a short completion note

Out of scope: router configuration and SIM activation (handled remotely).

Requirements

  • Electrician or equivalent, with experience connecting and protecting low-voltage power supplies
  • Experience mounting network equipment, routers or similar devices (DIN rail, wall or rack)
  • Able to pull and finish cables (UTP/Ethernet, power, possibly antenna cable)
  • Your own tools and a multimeter
  • Neat, safe working habits, following local electrical regulations and the business park's safety rules
  • English-language communication, and able to send photos and a short report
  • Based near Sriperumbudur or Chennai, so the site can be reached without extra travel cost

What to Include in Your Application

Please confirm you can carry out this work and provide:

  1. 1. Day rate (EUR): fixed, all-in, including travel and tools. The job takes about 2 hours at most.
  2. 2. Price per meter of UTP cable (EUR): including material and labor (and conduit or trunking if needed), in case cable installation is required.
  3. 3. Availability: your earliest start date.
  4. 4. References: two similar installations you have completed.

All amounts should be quoted in euros. No VAT applies, as payment is made from the Netherlands.

Next Steps

We will compare quotes on day rate, cable price, experience and availability, and contact shortlisted candidates with the site details and access arrangements.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
