Onze opdrachtgever West Fraser Genk maakt deel uit van de beursgenoteerde Canadese West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. De groep is met ruim 11.000 werknemers in meer dan 60 vestigingen een wereldwijd toonaangevend producent van timmerhout, panelen op houtbasis en 's werelds grootste producent van Oriented Strand Board (OSB). West Fraser Genk stelt rechtstreeks 140 mensen te werk en produceert SterlingOSBZero, dat vanuit Genk verdeeld wordt in de Benelux, Scandinavië, Duitsland, Oostenrijk, Zwitserland en Frankrijk. Genk rapporteert aan de Europese hoofdzetel in Cowie (Schotland).

Door jobrotatie komt er een plaats vrij voor een technisch onderlegde werkvoorbereider/onderhoudsplanner die onderhoudswerkzaamheden voorbereidt en inplant, De functie legt een sterke nadruk op de voorbereiding en coördinatie van de onderhoudsstilstanden, waarvan er jaarlijks ongeveer tien plaatsvinden. De rol combineert administratieve voorbereiding met overleg met contractors, technici en de maintenance manager, en met opvolging op de werkvloer tijdens de stilstanden

Functie en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Opstellen van wekelijkse onderhoudsplanning
  • Regelen van afspraken met externe contractors
  • Voorbereiden, leiden en evalueren van shutdown-meetings
  • Coördineren en opvolgen van de werkzaamheden tijdens de onderhoudsstilstanden
  • Opmaken van voor- en nacalculaties van onderhoudsstops
  • Beheren en actualiseren van onderhoudsinformatie in het registratiesysteem
  • Overleggen en samenwerken met de maintenance manager, area engineers en technici

Gewenste kwalificaties

  • Graduaat of BA elektromechanica of brede technische achtergrond
  • Goede PC-vaardigheden: MS Office, Excel gebruiker
  • Ervaring met een ERP-pakket
  • Ervaring met werkvoorbereiding of onderhoudsplanning is nuttig
