The posting

Our client is an independent investment and financial advisory firm dedicated to providing bespoke solutions to help their clients to grow and safeguard their wealth and assets.

They are seeking driven and highly skilled Relationship Managers at a mid/senior level that will be the first point of contact with the clients and the channel through which the clients deal with.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acquiring and leading client relationships, providing advice on a broad range of investment products and services tailored to the sophisticated needs of affluent, HNWI & UHNWI clients.
  • Ensure efficient and prompt handling of orders, trades, transactions.
  • Generating growth in AUM and revenue streams that will ensure delivery of the financial plan and achievement of the business objectives through effective client acquisition and management of portfolio of clients.
  • To achieve individual targets against Key Performance Indicators, including revenue targets, to grow client base, AUM and account profitability while maintaining a high standard of service quality. Seek opportunities to collaborate with other business divisions and specialists to deliver cross-selling opportunities.
  • Guide, counsel, and advise Assistant Relationship Managers in their support duties
  • To perform KYC / AML reviews, including Annual reviews & Due Diligence reviews in a timely manner and in meeting the standards in substance.
  • Maintain satisfactory Control & Compliance environment with full adherence to all laws and regulations and Group Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance to Risk Policy, Anti-Money Laundering Prevention policy and other relevant policies. Cooperate with the Money Laundering Prevention Officers (Unit, Business, and Country) to ensure compliance to internal and external controls and procedures for money laundering prevention. Where appropriate, assist in the investigation of financial crime risks and the reporting of suspicious activities.

  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external partners and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness.
  • A strong understanding of marketing concepts
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, innovative, problem solving and interpretative skills.
  • Highly collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships with clients and multiple teams.
