The Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the recruitment function and be part of a team that recruits, selects and onboards qualified candidates for management, professional, technical and support positions at Janney Headquarters and at over 130 branch offices. This resource will have a background in recruiting technical roles. The position is hybrid, 3 days a week out of the Philadelphia office. This is a 4 month assignment. Responsibilities:
Partner with Corporate departments including IT, Data and other areas regarding technical positions, from intake through offer. Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
Provide full life cycle recruitment including but not limited to creating requisitions, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens and generating offer letters.
Source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, recruiting platforms, professional networks, referrals, and other channels. Leverage technology and social media to source passive candidates and deliver creative solutions to fill positions in a pro-active, efficient and timely manner.
Recruit for a range of technology roles, which may include Software Engineers and Developers, and Data Engineers.
Partner with Private Client Group (PCG) administration staff and hiring managers to fill their open roles.
Establish, cultivate and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Provide analytics for Talent Acquisition team and broader HR team on recruitment metrics.
Manage candidate information and recruiting activity accurately within Dayforce. Provide a consistent and positive candidate experience.. Ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.
Perform other duties as required to support the Talent Acquisition team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably within financial services, fintech, banking, investment management, or another regulated industry preferred but not required. Experience recruiting for other areas a plus. Strong sourcing and candidate-engagement skills, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms. Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes. Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience working with an ATS and recruiting metrics. Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and proofreading skills. Possess a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities and priorities while meeting established deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated success as a team player and can-do attitude. Prior exposure to applicant tracking systems preferred. Experience using Ceridian Dayforce a plus. Strong technical aptitude; prior experience using technologies and social media recruitment strategies to fill positions and build a pipeline for current and future needs preferred but not required. Proficiency in MS Office; advanced capabilities in Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
