The posting

This is a demanding and exciting position at geothermal deep drilling project sites.Main tasksSupervising cementings carried out on the company's drills, such as casing Cementings, leak Cementings, Cementing of plugs, etc. Supervision and maintenance of Cementing equipment and associated equipment owned by the company. Responsible for maintenance and service of cementing equipment and related equipment is carried out in such a way that the equipment is always ready for Cementing tasks. Responsible of all equipment installation, demolition and cleaning of equipment after Cementing, including connections. Supervising the transport of Cementing equipment and related equipment to and from the drilling site. Steel work, all types, new construction, repairs, changes and the operation of Cementing equipment. To advance the development of equipment and thus increase the benefit of the company and the skills of its employees. Mixing of Class G Cement and managing the supply position. Taking care of transporting Class G mixture to and from drilling areas in collaboration with the toolpusher, project manager and service manager. Supervision of the maintenance of mixing equipment (air compressors, butterfly valves, etc.) with registration of quantity of mixed, processed and received Class G mixture, cement, and other materials. Education and Qualification Requirements• 5 years or more experience in cementing supervision is an advantage.• Experience with the following equipment: Schlumberger CPS 361, CPS665, Halliburton iCem Acquisition System, Halliburton HCS Advantage Skid, Unipro II, Halliburton PLC, RCM iiir, Halliburton Quick Latch Cement Heads, Halliburton Commander Cement Head is an advantage.• The following courses/certificates WCF D& CF Drilling fluid Concepts, Basic drilling engineering principles, new cementing technologies, Halliburton tool school preferred.• Experience in maintaining heavy machinery• Journeyman’s certificate in automotive or mechanical engineering preferred• Work machine operator’s license desirable• Good communication skills and ability to work in a demanding environment• Independent, reliable, and meticulous work habitsThe base of operations for the cementing services team is the Jardboranir Service Center in Hafnarfjörður.Employer can not assist with housingFull time job – shift work; work arrangements vary depending on the project.Wages according to collective agreements with Framsýn workers union.Please send your CV and application to the following email: <a href="mailto:[email protected]" rel="nofollow">[email protected]</a>Last application date is December 31st, 2026.
