As a Data Center and Solutions Delivery Manager you will be at the forefront of leading customer onboarding, migration, implementation, and service delivery activities for Rack as a Service (RaaS), Colocation, Data Center Hosting, and Enterprise/Carrier Connectivity Services across Pakistan. This role will be responsible for managing a team of Delivery Engineers and delivery resources while ensuring successful execution of customer projects, infrastructure readiness, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Acting as the delivery lead you will be driving greenfield deployments, customer migrations, Data Center expansion initiatives, and WAN/Connectivity solution implementations including Internet, MPLS VPN, Layer-2 Ethernet, QinQ, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity, and Managed Network Services.

The role reports directly to the Head of Delivery - Connectivity & Smart Solutions and will have direct and indirect reporting responsibilities for Delivery Engineers, Project Coordinators, and associated delivery resources.

What you’ll own

  • Lead customer onboarding, implementation, and migration projects into Data Center facilities.
  • Own delivery of Rack as a Service (RaaS), Colocation, Hosting, and Data Center infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop migration strategies, implementation plans, project schedules, and risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Ensure successful deployment and migration of customer workloads with minimal business disruption.
  • Coordinate infrastructure readiness, including rack space, power, cooling, cabling, cross-connects, MMR requirements, and connectivity provisioning.
  • Support capacity planning, high-density rack deployments, CFD assessments, and POD readiness activities.
  • Lead implementation and delivery of Enterprise Connectivity Services & Solutions, including Internet, DIA, MPLS VPN, Layer-2 Ethernet/Switching-based, QinQ, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity, Managed WAN, and Data Center Interconnect solutions.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Lead and manage Delivery Engineers and associated delivery resources, ensuring achievement of performance objectives and development goals.
  • Drive resource planning, workload management, capability development, and a high-performance delivery culture.
  • Own project governance, delivery reviews, risk management, and escalation handling.
  • Act as the primary delivery focal point for strategic and enterprise customers.
  • Conduct customer reviews, governance meetings, executive updates, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures, change management processes, quality standards, and service level commitments.
  • Review and approve implementation plans, migration runbooks, MOPs, SOWs, acceptance documentation, and project closure reports.
  • Support Sales and Presales teams through customer engagements, site surveys, workload assessments, solution validation, and implementation planning.
  • Review BOQs, delivery timelines, resource requirements, and implementation feasibility to support business growth and customer retention.
  • Support customer retention and business growth initiatives through successful service delivery.

What success looks like

  • Customer onboarding, migration and deployment projects are delivered successfully with minimal business disruption.
  • Infrastructure readiness and cross-team coordination result in timely, high-quality service delivery.
  • Strategic and enterprise customers are supported through strong governance, regular reviews and effective escalation handling.
  • Operational procedures, change management processes, quality standards and service level commitments are complied with.
  • The delivery team achieves its performance objectives and development goals.
  • Successful service delivery supports customer retention and business growth.

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Bring 7-10 years of experience in Data Center Delivery, Enterprise Connectivity Delivery, Infrastructure Projects, or Managed Services, with 3+ years’ experience leading technical teams and delivery organizations.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Have a strong understanding of Data Center infrastructure, rack deployments, power systems, cooling, cabling, redundancy models, and colocation environments.
  • Have strong working knowledge of Internet, MPLS VPN, Layer-2/Switching, Routing Protocols, QinQ, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity, and Managed WAN services.
  • Have experience managing enterprise customer migrations, onboarding projects, and infrastructure deployments.
  • Have experience delivering Data Center, Colocation, Cloud Connectivity, and WAN solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Have experience conducting technical assessments, migration readiness reviews, and service implementation planning.
  • Bring strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
  • Can manage multiple teams, priorities, customer deliverables, risks, and escalations simultaneously.
  • Bring strong project management, planning, budgeting, reporting, and governance skills.
  • Can develop delivery strategies and drive continuous service improvements.
  • Hold relevant certifications including PMP, Prince2, ITIL, DCCA, Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, or equivalent – an added advantage.
