The posting

Title: Senior Network Integration & Implementation Engineer

Grade: L3

Location: Islamabad

Company: JazzWorld

JazzWorld is Pakistan’s fastest-growing digital ecosystem, spanning connectivity, financial services, entertainment, lifestyle, enterprise and software services. As the senior hands-on engineer and Huawei technical lead within the Network & Security practice, you will design, integrate and deliver complex networks across data centres, enterprise WAN and SD-WAN, campus and wireless, and service-provider IP core and edge. You will lead Huawei technical delivery while integrating multi-vendor environments for public-sector, financial-services, service-provider and large-enterprise customers. The role owns the networks that connect compute, storage, backup and GPU infrastructure; those infrastructure domains sit elsewhere in Systems Integration.

What you’ll own

  • Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs for data centre, enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, campus, wireless, and IP core and edge networks.
  • Design data centre fabrics from three-tier architectures to spine-leaf VXLAN/BGP EVPN, including multi-site orchestration across active-active and primary/disaster-recovery sites.
  • Design national-scale SD-WAN and campus solutions, including zero-touch provisioning, overlay/underlay architecture, controller high availability, and data centre integration.
  • Lead Huawei implementation across iMaster NCE Fabric and Campus, CloudEngine and S-series switching, NE and AR routing, and Huawei firewalls; integrate other vendors’ platforms.
  • Deliver IP core/provider-edge transformations, technology refreshes, SDN and multi-vendor migrations, and live-production cutovers with defined validation and fallback plans.
  • Design network fabrics for AI/GPU workloads and integrate networks with firewalls, load balancers, virtualisation, cloud platforms, and existing multi-vendor estates.
  • Build security into network designs through firewall placement, segmentation, and policy migration; lead complex network escalations and root-cause analysis.
  • Prepare HLDs/LLDs, test plans, methods of procedure, migration and rollback plans, and as-built records; lead customer UAT and formal acceptance.
  • Own Huawei technical escalations and partner engagement, maintain Huawei reference designs and configuration baselines, and mentor engineers progressing through HCIA, HCIP, and HCIE.
  • Support bids with Solutions Engineering by validating feasibility, effort, resources, risks, bills of quantity/materials, customer workshops, proofs of concept, and technical presentations.

What success looks like

  • If not already certified at joining, attain HCIE-Datacom (written and lab) within the first three months.
  • Document Huawei reference designs and configuration baselines and review them with the Lead Architect.
  • Take technical ownership of all assigned in-flight projects and maintain a risk view for each.
  • Obtain sign-off for every design before implementation and deliver migrations without customer-impacting rollback.
  • Establish a Huawei certification roadmap, progressing at least two engineers to HCIP-Datacom within 12 months.
  • Record technical assumptions on every qualified bid supported by the role.
  • Improve escalation outcomes by feeding root causes back into reference designs and delivery practices.
  • Complete customer acceptance and managed-services handovers with usable documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Have 8-10+ years in network engineering, including at least 4 years delivering Huawei network solutions and at least 3 years as a technical or team lead on large programmes.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Have delivered end-to-end production network implementation and integration for government, financial-services, or service-provider customers across data centre, WAN, and campus.
  • Have delivered software-defined networks at scale, such as controller-based data centre fabrics or SD-WAN rollouts of 100+ sites, through customer acceptance.
  • Bring hands-on Huawei experience with NE, AR, CloudEngine and S-series platforms, and routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and MPLS.
  • Have experience with VXLAN/BGP EVPN, SDN controllers, iMaster NCE-Fabric/Fabric Insight/MDC-MDA, iMaster NCE-Campus or CloudCampus; other platforms are an advantage.
  • Have executed live-production technology refreshes and multi-vendor migrations with structured fallback planning, and understand security integration and service-provider IP core/edge networks.
  • Hold HCIE-Datacom, which is strongly preferred; at minimum, hold HCIP-Datacom or HCIP Routing & Switching. Other expert-level certifications may be considered with a commitment to attain HCIE-Datacom within three months.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
