Production Supervisor - Fabrication Lead the Line. Drive the Quality. Empower the Team! Location: Reading, PA Your Impact – Big and Bold: Lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality products while driving operational excellence. You’ll oversee daily production activities, foster a culture of safety and accountability, and champion continuous improvement to achieve key performance goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. What a Like: Day in Your Life Looks Like:
Safety Leadership: Promote a safety-first culture and proactively address workplace hazards.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop production team members to drive performance and accountability.
Production Management: Coordinate daily operations, assign work, and optimize staffing to maximize efficiency.
Training & Development: Provide hands-on training and guidance to strengthen team skills and performance.
Quality & Delivery: Maintain quality standards and production schedules to meet customer expectations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, maintain production boards, track attendance, and complete required reporting and evaluations.
Team Building: Support the interviewing and selection of hourly production team members.
Operational Support: Perform additional duties to support team and business goals.
What You Bring to the Table:
Education: High school diploma or GED Experience:
Minimum of (3) years prior experience leading an hourly skilled trade workforce 3 years of Fabrication or welding experience preferred Experience in Schematics, Blue Print reading, AutoCAD introduction
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to work overtime as needed Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
