ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Directs and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in performing a variety of warehouse and materials, including transaction functions. Schedules workload, instructs new employees, expedites parts to prevent downtime and maximize efficiencies. Will conduct the procedures explained in the ISO 7.5 area containing inventory control procedures. This includes counting, reconciling and performing root cause analysis on subsections of the inventory daily.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lead team to meet time standards. Familiarity with JDE system and world class. Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices. Knowledge of area and truck assemblies. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be able to function with minimal supervision. Ability to solve problems. Ability to train new employees. Able to measure and lead team members to meet daily goals and quotas in safety/productivity/quality and PPS measurements. Drives all types of industrial truck equipped with lifting devices.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
Knowledge of JDE and Microsoft Excel. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to obtain forklift license.
Must be very safety conscious.
