As a Complex Security & Fire Project Manager, you will be responsible for the profitable execution of assigned projects, including project delivery, estimating, and financial management. You will coordinate the technical and commercial elements of the work, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout, while keeping scope, schedule, cost, and safety under control.

How you will do it

  • Lead assigned security and fire projects from planning and estimating through delivery, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Perform or delegate hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout activities.

  • Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, technicians, installers, designers, and management throughout the project life cycle.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts while maintaining productive working relationships with subcontractors.
  • Communicate project status, forecasts, and risks to management in a clear and timely manner.
  • Coordinate customer training, documentation, and manuals as needed for successful handover.
  • Implement site safety and security procedures and support the safety program for Johnson Controls employees and worksite-based subcontractors.
  • Take ownership of outcomes with accountability, safety, and integrity by staying close to the jobsite, understanding the full scope, and addressing issues before they affect delivery.
  • Focus on what matters by removing obstacles quickly, keeping priorities clear, and ensuring decisions support schedule, margin, and customer commitments.
  • Keep communication clear and candid with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams so scope changes, risks, and approvals are handled without delay.
  • Improve every day through practical problem-solving by learning from project challenges, tightening controls, and using continuous improvement to strengthen execution.
  • Win as one team by coordinating field, technical, commercial, and customer stakeholders so the project moves forward safely and consistently.

What we look for

  • You are leader, at your best when called upon to think strategically. You communicate well with audiences at all levels, both internal and external. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
