The posting

We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to join the R&D team of a drone technology company focused on niche R&D and a wide range of drone services. You will design and develop control systems that let our products interact with UAVs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep delivery on schedule.
  • Translate user needs into clear design requirements.
  • Resolve system issues and provide technical support to colleagues and customers.
  • Validate implemented algorithms through testing.
  • Maintain current research, development and test equipment.
  • Integrate emerging technologies into existing units.
  • Draft new project proposals for management review.
  • Take on other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or a related field.
  • At least 3 years in the robotics field/UAV system.
  • Strong command of C/C++ and Python, with working knowledge of Git and bash.
  • Solid grounding in advanced control and filtering (Kalman filter, PID).
  • Habit of writing clean, readable, modular code.
  • Teamwork, adaptability and the ability to juggle several tasks.
  • Familiarity with ROS, Ubuntu and OpenCV.
  • Kotlin and Android app development.
  • PX4 and ArduPilot.
  • Advanced control methods such as LQR or MPC.
  • Classical machine learning and deep learning.
  • Debugging and working with electrical and mechanical hardware.
