The Role

Are you a detail-oriented, flexible, and energetic individual with a passion for facilities and construction services? Join the Shoe Palace Family at our Houston Office!

The Facilities Coordinator will work closely with the Construction & Facilities Team, coordinating maintenance, troubleshooting facility issues, and supporting our retail locations. If you are highly organized, resourceful, and enjoy finding solutions in a fast-paced environment, this is the position for you!

This is what a day at work may look like...

  • Manage incoming work orders, prioritize requests, and coordinate timely resolutions with store teams, District Managers, and vendors.
  • Connect with store teams through FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms to assess maintenance concerns, troubleshoot issues, and determine the best course of action.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance involving plumbing, restroom fixtures, doors, locks, hardware, lighting, HVAC, electrical, flooring, roofing, and other facility-related needs.
  • Coordinate vendor services, schedule appointments, monitor progress, and ensure completed work meets company standards.
  • Track outstanding work orders, follow up on pending repairs, and ensure requests are completed across all priority levels.
  • Maintain work order documentation, update facility tracking systems, and prepare reports on maintenance activity and store readiness.
  • Partner with the Facilities Management Team to support daily operations, identify recurring maintenance concerns, and keep retail locations in good working condition.
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This role is also responsible for monitoring and following up on assigned maintenance issues, vendor activity, and urgent store needs outside of regular business hours as needed.

About you...

  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Computer Savvy, keep in mind this is an office job
  • Written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Driven, expected to take initiative, and provide long term solutions to issues that arise

It would be great but not completely necessary to have...

  • 1+ years of combined electrical and facilities maintenance experience
