About our Clients In Hitchin this very busy nursery are now seeking an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join the team and support the manager with the day to day operations of their lovely Nursery. Working a 40 hr week, salary is c£35k depending on experience. Loads of benefits with this provider, and on good transport links, and there is also on site parking too. Requirements What our Clients are looking for Essential for the Nursery Deputy Manager Role A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant) A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting Ideal Nursery Deputy Manager Candidate Passionate about early years education and children’s development within a nursery setting Confident leader, able to motivate and support staff and contribute to the management team Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards across the setting Promotes best practice, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the nursery supporting the team on a daily basis Apply today to join a nursery setting as Nursery Deputy Manager and make a real difference in children’s early years!
