We are searching for top talent for the manager, Solution Engineer - GSINC Enterprise Contracting within the Global Simplification and Innovation in Contracting program, GSINC.

Do you seek big, complex, and ambiguous challenges? Are you passionate about transforming enterprise contracting through simplified processes, modern technology, intelligent data, and responsible AI? Do you want to help build a capability that improves how Johnson & Johnson works with its employees, suppliers, customers, healthcare professionals, and research partners?

GSINC is building an integrated, AI-enabled contracting capability designed to make contracting faster, simpler, more consistent, and more valuable to the enterprise! The program brings together process, policy, templates, technology, data, and intelligence to establish a scalable, modern contracting foundation across Johnson & Johnson.

The Solution Engineer, GSINC Enterprise Contracting designs, implements, and continuously improves standardized, technology-enabled contracting processes across the enterprise. The role translates GSINC strategy into scalable ways of working that improve speed, quality, compliance, experience, and business value.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Solution Design

  • Translate complex business needs into scalable, integrated, and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Define future-state solutions spanning business processes, digital platforms, workflow, data, integrations, analytics, automation, and responsible AI.
  • Develop solution concepts, process and data flows, capability models, integration requirements, and other design artifacts.
  • Ensure individual technology components operate as an integrated enterprise solution rather than as disconnected capabilities.
  • Enable automation, structured data, analytics, and responsible AI.
  • Define scalable future-state solutions that balance enterprise standards with business, legal, regulatory, and regional needs.

Implementation and Operational Excellence

  • Lead implementation planning across scope, milestones, resources, risks, readiness, adoption, stabilization, and outcomes.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through discovery, design, testing, launch, and impactful adoption.
  • Drive contract elimination, simplification, automation, self-service, and removal of non-value-added work.
  • Resolve delivery issues and raise material decisions with clear recommendations.

Cross-Workstream and Technology Integration

  • Integrate process design with template, policy, governance, data, change, and technology workstreams.
  • Translate approved processes into business requirements for workflows, approvals, reporting, integrations, and platform configuration.
  • Align technology capabilities, testing, release sequencing, and support with process needs.

Performance, Value, and Continuous Improvement

  • Define and monitor measures for adoption, controls, cycle time, quality, risk, productivity, cost, experience, and value.
  • Use data and feedback to close performance gaps and prioritize improvements.
  • Provide concise leadership updates on progress, risks, dependencies, results, and value realization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, legal operations, finance, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in transformation, process ownership, operational excellence, contracting, procurement, shared services, or program leadership.
  • Proven success leading complex, global, cross-functional transformations from design through sustained operations.
  • Experience in simplification, automation, performance measurement, and enterprise technology implementation; CLM experience preferred.
  • Relevant process, change, agile, product, or project management certification preferred.

Leadership Capabilities:

  • Enterprise thinking: Connects process decisions to strategy, risk, technology, data, and outcomes.
  • Transformation leadership: Turns ambiguity into priorities and mobilizes teams through adoption.
  • Operational rigor: Establishes clear ownership, controls, milestones, and follow-through.
  • Influence and judgment: Builds alignment, challenges complexity, and raises material issues constructively.
  • Data-driven communication: Uses evidence to prioritize action and deliver decision-ready recommendations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
