SITE ENGINEER

Location: Singapore

Job Description

Our recruitment team is sourcing a SITE ENGINEER for a current opening. This role suits a hands-on professional who thrives in an active construction environment. You will join an established firm and take full responsibility for technical delivery on site. It is a great opportunity to lead complex infrastructure builds from start to finish.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities to ensure all construction works meet strict design and safety standards.

• Interpret technical drawings and survey data to guide the onsite engineering and construction project teams.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain the agreed project timeline and quality control measures.

• Monitor progress of site works and prepare detailed daily reports for the senior project management.

• Oversee the installation of structural components to verify compliance with national building codes and requirements.

• Identify potential engineering risks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays during the construction phase.

• Check site materials against technical specifications to ensure that everything meets the required project standards.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant construction management qualification from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of three years of professional experience working in a site engineering or project capacity.

• Strong proficiency in reading structural blueprints and using specialized surveying tools like total stations.

• Practical knowledge of local workplace safety regulations and certification in construction site safety management.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively manage relationships with site workers, consultants, and project stakeholders.

• Ability to use computer-aided design software to manage technical documentation and update project schematics.
