  • Diagnose system failures using digital multimeters, cable testers, and logical troubleshooting techniques, inspecting sites to identify root causes of hardware issues.
  • Track the status of all service requests, including date, time, location, issue, and resolution details, within a CMMS/work order system.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; create or update system documentation and standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Determine, track, and maintain appropriate levels of spare parts and hardware inventory to minimize system downtime.
  • Adhere to all general electrical and workplace safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements; immediately report any unmitigated safety concerns.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency responses, which may include weekends and holidays.
  • Collaborate with team members, managers, and corporate clients, representing JLL with professionalism at every client location.

Required qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the physical security, low-voltage, or locksmith industry.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with access control panels, system controllers, reader boards, and input/output boards.
  • Hands-on experience with electrified locking hardware, including mortise and cylindrical locks, magnetic locks, shear locks, and electric strikes.
  • Familiarity with access control power supplies, backup batteries, power transfer hinges, and armored door cords.
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical circuits, including AC/DC, relays, resistance, and series/parallel wiring.
  • Fundamental knowledge of IP networking, including device pinging, network switch identification, and RJ45 termination.
  • Active California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Existing LenelS2 certification, or willingness to obtain certification within the first 3 years of employment through company-provided training.
  • Experience with peripheral security devices, such as REX motion detectors, push buttons, magnetic door contacts, and duress/panic buttons.
  • Familiarity with electronic key cabinets, badging printers, intercoms, and local sounders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to completing work orders thoroughly.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with team members, managers, and corporate clients.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
