Remote Translation Project & Vendor Manager — Interpreting and Document Legalisation
Arabist Translation Bureau is looking for experienced project and vendor managers to coordinate assignments for international clients, primarily in the UAE and other GCC countries.
At least two years of experience in a translation agency is required, including hands-on experience managing interpreting projects and document legalisation. You should be able to handle an assignment independently, from the initial enquiry and quotation through to completion and payment.
Key responsibilities:
• Handle client enquiries, clarify requirements and prepare quotations. • Manage interpreting projects: source interpreters, confirm the interpreting mode, schedule and location, and coordinate equipment providers where required. • Coordinate document legalisation: establish requirements based on the issuing and destination countries, arrange the relevant stages with service providers and track progress. • Source and manage vendors, negotiate rates and terms, and monitor availability and delivery. • Calculate project costs and margins. • Maintain project records in CRM and translation management systems. • Coordinate invoicing, advance payments, client payment follow-up and vendor payments. • Manage written translation and localisation assignments as required.
Requirements:
• Experience serving clients in the UAE or other GCC countries. • Practical knowledge of interpreting bookings and document legalisation workflows. • Strong English communication and negotiation skills. • Experience working with international vendors. • Reliable follow-up, attention to detail and the ability to manage several assignments simultaneously.
Fully remote — candidates may be based in any country. Availability during agreed UAE business hours is required.
This is a commission-based collaboration, with compensation linked to the assignments you manage and the client payments received. There is no guaranteed fixed monthly salary. The percentage and calculation terms will be agreed individually.
UAE-based candidates are also welcome under the same collaboration model.
When applying, please include your current location, the markets you have served and examples of your experience coordinating interpreting projects and document legalisation.
We do not provide visa sponsorship or relocation support.
