We are advancing our vaccine pipeline to halt the increasing threat of global infections due to emerging antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and sexually transmitted diseases. Working at LimmaTech is a unique chance to be part of the development of life saving vaccines.
Are you excited about the opportunity to contribute to the development of early- to mid-stage vaccines by running various biological fermentation systems using your technical and scientific skills? Would you like to be part of a team developing scalable and GMP compatible manufacturing processes to produce live saving vaccines? Then we want you to apply!
To strengthen our Upstream Processing (USP) team, we are currently looking for a:
CMC-Development Associate, USP (100%)
to contribute to the development of robust and scalable manufacturing processes.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Prepare, perform, and document USP operations and experiments in accordance with established plans, timelines, and project priorities.
- Develop robust and scalable microbial upstream fermentation processes suitable for subsequent GMP manufacturing under the guidance of experienced team members, using bioreactors and supporting technologies.
- Establish and execute experimental strategies to investigate expression systems and critical process parameters with the aim of identifying optimal manufacturing conditions for novel products.
- Evaluate and interpret experimental data and communicate results and conclusions in scientific meetings, presentations, and technical reports.
- Support technology transfer activities to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) throughout different stages of development.
- Support the maintenance of laboratories and equipment in a clean, safe, and fully operational condition in accordance with applicable safety and operational standards.
What we are looking for
You are a curious, enthusiastic, and proactive team player who enjoys hands-on laboratory work, takes ownership of your activities, and is motivated to continuously learn and develop in a laboratory-focused technical role. Ideally, you bring:
