Drive Construction & Commissioning Excellence in the Pharmaceutical Industry with Techfirm Engineering
Techfirm Engineering is looking for a Construction Area Coordinator (m/f/d) to join a major pharmaceutical project in Switzerland, starting in November 2026.
What You Will Do:
-Coordinate and supervise decommissioning and construction activities.
-Coordinate contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders within your assigned area.
-Support the installation, mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover of new equipment.
-Coordinate interfaces between construction, engineering, commissioning, validation, and operations.
-Monitor progress, schedule, resources, and site activities.
-Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, GMP, and project requirements.
-Support issue resolution and provide regular progress updates.
-Ensure proper documentation and handover of completed activities.
What We Are Looking For:
-Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Area Owner, Construction Supervisor, Construction Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or similar.
-Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries.
-Experience with brownfield projects, decommissioning, installation, and/or commissioning.
-Strong experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
-Experience in a GMP environment is a strong plus.
-Hands-on, proactive, and well-organized approach.
-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
-Fluent English is required.
-German is a real plus.
-Valid Swiss/EU/EFTA work authorization.
