Job Description ##
EMEA Recruitment is supporting a leading international manufacturing organization in its search for a Global Warehouse Fleet Manager to join its global Logistics Operations team.
This is a global position responsible for optimizing the performance, utilization, and total cost of ownership of warehouse material handling equipment across an international network of manufacturing and distribution sites.
You will use telematics, operational data and financial analysis to improve asset productivity, challenge fleet requirements and support strategic investment decisions, while establishing consistent fleet management standards across the organization.
Location: Cham, Switzerland, 5 days per week on-site
Key Responsibilities of the Global Warehouse Fleet Manager:
- Lead the global strategy for optimizing owned and leased warehouse fleets, including forklifts, pallet trucks, reach trucks and AGVs
- Use telematics and operational data to improve equipment utilization, productivity and fleet sizing
- Identify opportunities to reduce ownership, leasing, maintenance and operating costs and improve overall Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Review fleet investment proposals and CAPEX business cases, including investment requirements, ROI, savings and payback
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Warehouse Operations and equipment suppliers to improve fleet performance and establish global standards
- Support wider warehouse productivity and automation initiatives, including the evaluation of new technologies and equipment optimization opportunities
Candidate Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related discipline
- 6-10 years of professional experience within warehouse engineering, industrial engineering, warehouse capacity planning, supply chain strategy, network design or a related field
- Proven experience managing or optimizing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) fleets, including forklifts, pallet trucks, reach trucks, AGVs or similar equipment
- Strong experience with telematics, fleet analytics and utilization data within warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environments
- Good financial understanding, with experience evaluating TCO, CAPEX, ROI and investment business cases
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools
- Professional fluency in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese would be advantageous
