Tasks ##

  • Actively participate in all kitchen areas, including show cooking.

Skills ##

  • Experience in gastronomy and classical cuisine is essential.
  • Fluent in German; additional languages like Italian, English are a plus.
  • Must be communicative, organized, and able to work under pressure.

Our team in the highest restaurant in Europe, at 3883 m above sea level, is looking for a cheerful head chef in daytime operations by arrangement.

Job profile

Area of responsibility with us

  • Active participation in all areas of the kitchen (including show kitchen)
  • Preparation of all dishes with the kitchen team, creation of mise en place and development of local and varied menus for our special events
  • Responsibility for purchasing, costing and inventory
  • Creation of work, leave and holiday planning for the kitchen team
  • Ensuring and organising a smooth kitchen operation from A to Z
  • Maintaining the high quality standard, implementing the hygiene concept (including training of employees)
