Les EMS du Mandement Sàrl consists of 3 medico-social establishments:

  • Résidence La Plaine accommodates 92 residents of AVS age dependent physically and mentally.
  • Résidence Mandement accommodates 45 residents of AVS age.
  • Villa Mandement accommodates 30 residents under 65 years old with mental disorders.

Our mission

Our mission is to animate and develop a living space, as well as to provide services that meet the needs and aspirations of the residents and their relatives, respecting the standards, norms and ethics prevailing in the field.

In this respect, we are looking for a health assistant on a 9-month fixed-term contract at 80%.

Your mission:

  • Ensure the support of residents taking into account individual needs
  • Meet their needs while considering the organisation of the institution
  • Apply care delegated by nurses
  • Observe and assess the physical and mental capacities of the resident
  • Guide, support, stimulate the resident according to defined care objectives
  • Inform in writing and orally all useful information
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other services of the institution
  • Take an active part in team meetings through observations

Profile sought

  • Your profile:
  • Red Cross health assistant certificate
  • Experience in nursing homes
  • Experience in psycho-geriatric care
  • Genuine interest and aptitude for supporting elderly people and for teamwork, with confirmed experience in geriatrics/psychogeriatrics and/or palliative care
  • Ability to collaborate on interdisciplinary projects
  • Autonomy, rigour, organisational skills, prioritisation and responsibility, flexibility, creativity, stress resistance
  • Good interpersonal skills with residents and relatives
  • Dynamism, flexibility, open-mindedness and ability to promote change
  • Fluent French (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in the resident's computerised file SADIES (DIR).
