* Entwicklungen im Bereich des internationalen Handels in anderen Ländern und auf globaler Ebene verfolgen und analysieren. * Politische Prozesse betreffend die Handels- und Aussenwirtschaftspolitik begleiten, von der Erstellung der entsprechenden Bundesratsgeschäfte bis zur Kommunikation. * Arbeiten mit den zuständigen Stellen innerhalb des SECO und der Bundesverwaltung sowie mit Partnerstaaten und internationalen Organisationen koordinieren. * Die Verhandlungsführung in komplexen Prozessen unterstützen.

* Abgeschlossenes universitäres Masterstudium. * Ausgewiesenes Interesse an und sehr gute Kenntnisse der internationalen Politik im Bereich der Handels- und Wirtschaftsbeziehungen sowie der Schweizer Aussenwirtschaftspolitik. * Selbstständigkeit, strukturiertes, vernetztes und politisches Denken, ausgeprägter Kooperations- und Teamgeist sowie stilsicherer schriftlicher Ausdruck. * Gute Arbeitsorganisation, Flexibilität sowie Belastbarkeit und Leistungsbereitschaft. * Sehr gute Kenntnisse zweier Amtssprachen, sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.

Das Ressort Freihandelsabkommen/EFTA (WHFH) ist zuständig für die Freihandelspolitik und die Freihandelsabkommen (FHA) wie auch andere bilaterale Verhandlungsprozesse der Schweiz mit Partnerstaaten ausserhalb der EU. Das Ressort WHFH leitet die Verhandlungen und koordiniert die damit in Zusammenhang stehenden Arbeiten. Das Ressort ist ausserdem verantwortlich für spezifische Themenbereiche im Rahmen von FHA (z. B. Handel und nachhaltige Entwicklung).

Das Staatssekretariat für Wirtschaft (SECO) ist das Kompetenzzentrum des Bundes für alle Kernfragen der Wirtschafts- und Arbeitsmarktpolitik und gehört zum Eidgenössischen Departement für Wirtschaft, Bildung und Forschung (WBF). Es fördert die internationale Marktöffnung bei Gütern, Dienstleistungen und Investitionen. Zur Verminderung der Armut engagiert sich das SECO in der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit.
