Ihre Aufgaben

  • Sie tragen die Verantwortung für den reibungslosen Ablauf in der Küche bei Veranstaltungen ausser Haus und im Congress Center Basel
  • Sie verfassen Ablaufpläne und bestellen Equipment
  • Sie schreiben Angebote und Menüs für unsere Pop-Up Restaurants
  • Sie agieren als Vorbild für Kolleg:innen und leiten diese gerne an
  • Sie arbeiten zuverlässig und setzen ISO- und HACCP-Richtlinien gewissenhaft um
  • Sie bringen Ihre Vorschläge und Ideen im Team ein und kochen mit Freude!

Der Fokus Ihrer Arbeit liegt auf der Veranstaltungsleitung. Sie sind Teil des Hospitality-Teams, das aus 10 festen Mitarbeiter:innen und, je nach Veranstaltung, bis zu 300 Servicemitarbeitenden besteht. Die Abteilung Sales klärt mit unseren Kund:innen alle Details und erstellt das Function Sheet – danach übernehmen Sie als Dreh- und Angelpunkt die Umsetzung: Sie sind verantwortlich für die operative Planung der Veranstaltung im Bereich Hospitality. Sie sorgen dafür, dass die Veranstaltung vor Ort professionell abläuft und dass Küche, Logistik und Service Hand in Hand arbeiten. Dabei übernehmen Sie zudem aktiv die Gastgeberrolle, sind Ansprechpartner:in für unsere Gäste vor Ort und stellen sicher, dass diese sich willkommen und bestens betreut fühlen. Gleichzeitig übernehmen Sie als Stellvertreter:in des Head of Hospitality gemeinsam mit ihm Verantwortung im gesamten Bereich. Sie sind nicht nur Vertretung im klassischen Sinne, sondern bilden mit ihm zusammen ein Team und gestalten unter seiner Führung aktiv die personelle, strategische und operative Weiterentwicklung der Abteilung Hospitality. Deine Aufgaben- Vor-Ort-Ansprechpartner/in für unsere Kund:innen, Gäste und alle internen Gewerke - Aufbau und Durchführung von Veranstaltung oder Leitung eines Bereichs bei Grossveranstaltungen - Briefing, Führung und Motivation des Serviceteams - Sicherstellung von hoher Servicequalität - Du unterstützt uns flexibel während unserer Peakphasen und bist insbesondere bei Events mit hohem Personalbedarf im Einsatz.

Dein Profil ===========

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung/Studium im Bereich Gastronomie, Event, Hotellerie oder vergleichbare Erfahrung
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Service
  • Organisationstalent mit hohem Dienstleistungsbewusstsein und Auge fürs Detail
  • Gastgebermentalität – Sie lieben es, Gäste willkommen zu heissen und ihnen ein aussergewöhnliches Erlebnis zu bieten
  • Teamplayer:in, der/die auch in herausfordernden Situationen ruhig, höflich und respektvoll bleibt
  • Kommunikationsstark und lösungsorientiert
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
  • Führerschein Klasse B von Vorteil
