As a Senior-Level Operational Buyer with us, you take on a key role in a highly regulated environment and ensure that materials, components, and services are available on time, in the right quantity, and in the required quality.

With your expertise and quality awareness, you actively contribute to product compliance and high customer satisfaction. At the same time, you always keep the big picture in mind and consistently optimise the cost-benefit ratio of our purchased products and services proactively and with real impact.

What you can achieve ##

  • Responsibility for the operational procurement of components, assemblies, and services in the medical technology environment
  • Ensuring timely material availability considering quality, costs, and regulatory requirements
  • Processing orders and comparing offers as well as price and contract negotiations for existing items and services with national and international suppliers
  • Managing and further developing the existing supplier portfolio
  • Close cooperation with strategic purchasing, production, quality assurance, development, and logistics to optimise procurement processes
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 13485, MDR) in the procurement process
  • Analysing purchasing key figures and preparing evaluations and reports for management
  • Supporting the introduction and further development of ERP and procurement systems
  • Risk and bottleneck management along the supply chain

What sets you apart ##

  • Several years of solid experience in operational purchasing is essential, ideally complemented by knowledge in material disposition or production planning in a manufacturing company
  • Completed commercial or technical basic training, supplemented by qualified further training in purchasing, supply chain management, or production planning is an advantage
  • Experience in managing production orders as well as a strong understanding of material flows and production processes
  • Experience in the medical technology production environment is an advantage
  • Very good ERP knowledge, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), as well as confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel (evaluations, analyses, reports)
  • Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are a plus
  • Structured, independent, and reliable working style with high personal responsibility
  • Strong intrinsic motivation as well as a high standard of quality and solution orientation
  • High organisational skills and confident handling of complex procurement processes
  • Systematic and precise approach even in a dynamic production environment
