PostgreSQL Database Engineer (m/w/d)/ Azure / Terraform / Ansible/ 100%/ ZH Projekt Sie betreiben und optimieren eine grosse PostgreSQL\-Landschaft auf Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server und automatisieren Datenbankprozesse mit Terraform, Ansible oder vergleichbaren IaC\-Tools. Dabei stellen Sie Performance, Sicherheit und Stabilität sicher und optimieren Monitoring sowie Backup\- und Novemer zu 100% in Zürich für 10 Monate.

Aufgaben:

  • Analyse, Betrieb und kontinuierliche Optimierung der bestehenden PostgreSQL\-Datenbanklandschaft
  • Identifikation und Behebung von Performanceengpässen sowie Optimierung der Skalierbarkeit und Ressourcennutzung
  • Automatisierung von Datenbankprozessen wie Bereitstellung, Konfiguration, Monitoring, Backup, Wiederherstellung und Skalierung
  • Umsetzung von Infrastructure\-as\-Code\-Lösungen (IaC) mit Terraform, Ansible oder vergleichbaren Technologien
  • Sicherstellung eines stabilen, sicheren und hochverfügbaren Datenbankbetriebs
  • Überwachung der Datenbankperformance sowie Bearbeitung von Incidents und Service Requests
  • Umsetzung von Best Practices für Performance\-Tuning, Sicherheitskonfigurationen und Hochverfügbarkeit
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem internen Datenbankteam sowie technische Beratung und Wissenstransfer
  • Erstellung und Pflege technischer Dokumentationen
  • Anwendung von DevOps\-Prinzipien und Unterstützung automatisierter CI/CD\-Prozesse

Anforderungen:

  • Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung in der Administration, im Betrieb und in der Optimierung von PostgreSQL\-Datenbanken in grossen, produktiven Umgebungen
  • Fundierte Erfahrung mit Microsoft Azure, insbesondere mit Azure Database for PostgreSQL \- Flexible Server
  • Erfahrung in der Automatisierung von Datenbankprozessen und im Einsatz von Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Praktische Kenntnisse in Terraform, Ansible oder vergleichbaren Automatisierungswerkzeugen
  • Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL ab Version 15
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Performance\-Tuning, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Backup und Recovery sowie Datenbanksicherheit und Hochverfügbarkeit
