The posting
LimmaTech Biologics AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, is a Swiss clinical stage biopharmaceutical company. We are advancing our vaccine pipeline to halt the increasing threat of global infections due to emerging antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and sexually transmitted diseases. Working at LimmaTech is a unique chance to be part of the development of life saving vaccines.
Are you excited about the opportunity to contribute to the development of early- to mid-stage vaccines by managing non-clinical studies and coordinating internal and external partners? Would you like to be part of a team translating preclinical data into well-planned development activities and high-quality documentation? Then we want you to apply!
To strengthen our Preclinical team, we are currently looking for a:
Preclinical Project Manager (80-100%)
to coordinate non-clinical studies and support vaccine development from planning through reporting.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage non-clinical research and GLP studies with internal teams, external collaborators, and contract research organizations (CROs) to support research and clinical development activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and track preclinical projects, including timelines, budgets, risks, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Analyze, interpret, and present preclinical data generated through immunological and functional assays such as ELISA, OPA, SBA, and multiplex immunoassays.
- Prepare preclinical documentation, including protocols, study reports, toxicology reports, and contributions to regulatory documents.
- Coordinate communication and study activities with external providers and internal stakeholders across functions.
- Organize study logistics, including materials, sample management, and shipments for in vivo and in vitro studies.
- Maintain preclinical databases, inventories, and study materials to ensure data integrity and traceability.
- Support assay development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable vaccine regulatory requirements, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What we are looking for
You are a proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented project manager who combines scientific understanding with strong organizational skills. You take ownership of timelines and deliverables, communicate effectively with internal and external partners, and remain focused on quality when managing competing priorities.
Ideally, you bring:
- A Master's degree in biology, microbiology, immunology, toxicology, or a related life sciences field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in preclinical research, project management, or drug or vaccine development.
- Experience managing outsourced studies and working with CROs and external scientific partners in vaccine development.
- Experience with immunological and functional assays, including ELISA, OPA, SBA, and multiplex immunoassays.
- Strong experience in scientific data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to non-clinical and GLP studies in vaccine development.
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, as well as GraphPad Prism.
The working place is in Schlieren near Zürich, easily accessible by public transportation. If you meet the requirements of this exciting position and want to work in a friendly, highly motivated and dynamic team, we are interested in hearing from you.
