Professional Firefighter Fixed-Term Contract (12-24 months)

You will ensure the safety of the Monthey industrial park and its surroundings, as part of the first response team of the professional firefighter corps.

Intervention in support of the site and cantonal collaboration

Maintenance and servicing of intervention equipment

Operation of the Alarm Centre

Specificity of the role: the holder must reside or commit to residing within 30 minutes of the site. This is a position with shift work.

* An open and dynamic personality with very good stress resistance * A Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a technical or chemical field * Basic firefighter training course * Respiratory apparatus carrier training course and currently active in the field * Several years of experience in intervention engagements * Heavy vehicle driving licence C1-118 or C * Experience in the healthcare sector (would be an advantage) * Experience in an engagement centre (would be an advantage) * Ability to work in teams (during 24-hour shifts on site) * Excellent physical condition meeting the requirements of periodic SUVA tests * Health status compliant with FSSP recommendations and certified by an internal medical examination * A clean criminal record will be required for this position * * A strong corporate culture based on collaboration, trust and respect * A cutting-edge technological environment within an SME embedded in the regional economic fabric * Real opportunities for professional development, with continuing education as a strategic pillar * Attractive conditions, including advantageous social benefits and flexibility promoting work-life balance
