Arbeitsort: Zürich-West (Toni-Areal), nach Absprache Homeoffice möglich Pensum: 80-100% Aufgaben: Sie gestalten die technische Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung eines neu geschaffenen zentralen AI-Service einer grossen Hochschule massgeblich mit und bilden zusammen mit dem AI-Service Owner das Kernteam. Sie bauen gemeinsam mit den IT-Teams und externen Partnern AI-Plattformen und deren technische Architektur auf, etablieren wiederverwendbare Komponenten und technische Standards und wirken bei der Evaluation und Beschaffung von AI-Compute-Infrastrukturen mit. Sie konzipieren und entwickeln produktionsfähige GenAI-Lösungen wie RAG-Anwendungen, AI Agents, Automatisierungen und spezialisierte AI-Services, integrieren diese in die bestehende IT-Landschaft (APIs, Deployment, CI/CD, Monitoring, Logging, Kosten- und Nutzungsüberwachung) und sorgen für einen stabilen Betrieb. Zudem bewerten Sie neue Modelle, Frameworks und Technologien und entwickeln bei Bedarf PoCs. Sie arbeiten eng mit IT, Informationssicherheit, Datenschutz und externen Partnern zusammen. Profil: Abgeschlossenes Studium (Uni/FH) in Informatik, Data Science, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation sowie mehrjährige Erfahrung als AI-, Software-, Cloud- oder Platform Engineer. Praktische Erfahrung mit GenAI-Anwendungen und LLM-basierten Architekturen (z. B. RAG, agentische Workflows), mit dem Aufbau und Betrieb technischer Plattformen und Services sowie mit APIs und Integrationsarchitekturen. Solide Software-Engineering-Kenntnisse und die Fähigkeit, Architektur- und Technologieentscheide eigenständig zu erarbeiten, verständlich zu erklären und sauber zu dokumentieren. Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse. Von Vorteil: Erfahrung mit hybriden AI- und Compute-Infrastrukturen (Cloud, GPU, On-Premises, selbst gehostete Modelle), Sicherheits- und Berechtigungskonzepten für AI-Systeme sowie Evaluation und Observability von LLM-basierten Systemen. Geboten werden Gestaltungsspielraum von Anfang an im Aufbau eines neuen AI-Service mit direktem Einfluss auf Architektur und Tech-Stack, ein vielfältiges Hochschulumfeld an der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Forschung und Technologie, ein Arbeitsplatz im Toni-Areal in Zürich-West sowie Anstellungsbedingungen nach kantonaler Personalgesetzgebung.
